The Ace of Blades Terms of Service Agreement
 
By placing an order for any product from The Ace of Blades you ("the Customer") agree to the terms listed below. These terms can change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms carefully each time you place an order with The Ace of Blades.

Pricing and Availability

Every attempt is made to ensure the pricing of the products displayed for sale is accurate. Occasionally an error may be made in the displayed price or availability of a particular product. In these instances, if a customer has placed an order based on an incorrect price, the customer will be contacted and offered the opportunity to continue with the purchase at the correct price. In no case will The Ace of Blades be obligated to sell a product at an incorrect price due to typographical error or omission.

Special Orders

Items maked "Special Order" in the shipping details are non-stocking items that are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Depending on availability the item may require 2-5 weeks for delivery. If you wish to cancel the order just call or email with your order information and if the item has not shipped, you will be refunded immediately. If the order has shipped and you still wish to cancel the order, it must be returned in compliance with our Return Policy (see Below).

Shipping Policy

Orders are shipped as soon as payment has been verified. Verification may take as long as 3-4 days. The shipping estimate under "Availability" for each product is from the time of payment verification, not from the time the order was placed (Payment verification Time + Shipping Estimate = Order Completion Time).
The Ace of Blades uses USPS Priority Mail and UPS for shipping carriers. You may choose during check-out. Shipping cost is calculated automatically at that time based on weight and distance. Most pocket knives are under 1 pound and ship via USPS Priority mail for $7.95 (including handling).
An email is sent to notify you when your order has shipped and will include a tracking number when available.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they are shipped. Items can be retuned as defined in the Return Policy (See Below).

Incorrect Shipping Information Provided by Customer

It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate shipping information. If an order cannot be delivered and must be returned due to customer error the item will be restocked, refunded, and will need to be re-ordered.

International Orders

The Ace of Blades does not currently ship any orders outside of the United States.

Method of Payment

The Ace of Blades accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal securely through PayPal. No other form of payment will be considered or accepted. Orders may be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year on the website.

Security

The Ace of Blades uses, 256 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This encryption makes the reading or use of your private information impossible for anyone but the authorized user. Your information is encrypted the moment you register or start the checkout process. It is then securely transfered to PayPal for payment processing. Any and all information submitted at PayPal is protected by there encryption so you are covered throughout the process.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is our highest concern. The Ace of Blades does not sell your personal information or release it to any party. We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Release, Assumption of Risk, and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement

When you order or purchase any merchandise from The Ace of Blades by any method, you represent by your actions as a condition of purchase your agreement to the following:

The Ace of Blades does not warrant that a person, company or any entity may legally sell, purchase, possess, or carry any and all items offered for sale on this website according to federal, state, local, county or city laws. These items include, but are not limited to, hunting knives, fixed blade knives, double edged knives, swords, pocket knives, folding knives, or knives with blade lengths that may exceed the varying state or local regulations.

It is the consumers responsibility to research the knife laws in their locale and assure their compliance with these laws. By purchasing any item from The Ace of Blades, the purchaser warrants that he is in compliance with all federal, state, local, county and city laws and is legally able to purchase these items.

By placing an order the purchaser warrants they are of 18 years of age, that they have read the Terms of Service and are in compliance with it and that they assume full responsibility for compliance with all federal, state, local, county and city laws and regulations. All equipment is sold subject to public law 90-351, title III, U.S.D., section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. If you are in doubt, consult your local and state laws before ordering.

The knives sold by The Ace of Blades are sharp and can be dangerous. It is the users responsibility to handle, maintain and store the knife in a safe manner. By acceptance of the item(s) ordered, the purchaser agrees that The Ace of Blades shall have no liability to the purchaser or any other party for any claim, loss, damage or expense arising from the handling, use, display, possession, maintenance, ownership, defect or storage of the product.

The Ace of Blades makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to any matter not expressly provided herein, including without limitation, the design or fitness of the product. All claims are agreed to by the purchaser to be disputed solely with the manufacturer.

Return Policy

The Ace of Blades offers a full refund of the purchase price as long as the following conditions are met.

A "reason for return" document must be included with the returned item or emailed in advance and must contain your name, the date of purchase, the product name, and the reason for return. The email must be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and must have the word "Return" for the subject. We must recieve the returned item within 30 days of the date of purchase in the original box, in new, unopened and unused condition. This includes all original packaging, materials, instructions, and paperwork.

Once your item has been received and examined to be in the above described condition, a refund will be issued. If the item does not meet these conditions a refund will not be issued and the item will be returned to you. When returning items to The Ace of Blades they should be sent via UPS or USPS. Delivery Confirmation and insurance is recommended as The Ace of Blades cannot be responsible items that are lost or stolen in transit.
